Company DescriptionSEGULA TECHNOLOGIES is hiring a Aircraft Structural Assemblerto join our growing team *****Windsor Locks, CTWe offer a competitive salary and benefits plan, and great opportunities for career growth!Contract to hireFlexible Spending AcountsDomestic Partner CoverageHealth Savings AccountsLife and Disability Plan optionsVision, Dental and Medical options401K 2% MatchPerdiem if you live 150 miles away from Windsor Locks,CTWith a global presence in 28 countries with 140 offices worldwide, SEGULA fosters a close relationship with its customers thanks to the expertise of its 11,000 employees.SEGULA TECHNOLOGIES is an Engineering and Design Services company with a proven ability to boost innovation and competitiveness within the major industrial sectors, including Aerospace & Defense, Automotive, Energy, Rail, Naval, Pharmaceutical, Oil & Gas,Job DescriptionTroubleshoot, repair, inspect and perform maintenance on customer aircraftFabricate and or modify structural modifications on aircraft partsPerform minor structural repairs on composite components either attached or detachedAssist in conducting hidden damage inspection of aircraft structuresAssist with complex structural repairs either on or off aircraftAssist with aircraft component repairRemove / install aircraft components as requiredComply with environmental health and safety policies/proceduresParticipate in 5-S activitiesPerform work in a safe and timely mannerPerform and document work performed per appropriate manuals and regulations as requiredOperate ground support equipment as requiredAssist with mechanical / electrical removals and installations as neededAssist with maintenance at off-site locations as neededAssist with towing aircraft as neededAssist with other maintenance disciplines as neededAdhere to the General Work Requirements for factory, shop and/or hanger positionsQualifications4 years of Corporate aircraft structural sheet metal repair / modification experience You have the ability to interpret and work with mechanical engineering drawingsYou have the ability to effectively communicate in both written and verbal form on individual and / or aircraft statusYou own a basic set of hand tools with the ability to demonstrate Inventory and control of toolsYou have the ability to obtain appropriate Ground Support Equipment (GSE) qualifications as requiredYou are able to work unscheduled overtime including nonscheduled work days and holidaysYou are able to work in seasonal/inclement weather outsideYou have the ability to obtain a Security Identification Display Area badge (SIDA) if applicableYou have an A Certification, A&P Certificate or Repairman Certificate (preferred)You have basic PC skillsAdditional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.Candidates must be elegible and authorized to work inmediately for any employer in the United States.
