The role is responsible for supporting the underwriting and portfolio management teams to maintain underwriting and operational excellence across the portfolio. The ideal candidate is excited to dig into the books of high-growth companies, monitor and develop credit procedures and contribute to a vibrant startup ecosystem.Duties and ResponsibilitiesSupport the underwriting team with screening new opportunities, renewals and reviewsPrepare industry research and analysis, financial modeling and analysis, and performance-related informationWork collaboratively with underwriting and portfolio management teams to monitor and assess client financials and collateralAssist in preparation of portfolio reviewsBuild out and update financial models for clientsAssist in building out underwriting and due diligence processesQualifications and Experience2 to 5 years of asset-based lending, private credit, or investment banking experienceHigh proficiency with Excel and financial modelingDemonstrated competency in financial statement analysis; you have a deep understanding of the interrelationship of the balance sheet, income statement, and statement of cash flowYou have a high level of analytical ability to determine loan risk and recommend credit limitationsDeep familiarity with due diligence and underwriting processesYou are an excellent communicator, exhibiting a high level of comfort and confidence when engaging with external management teamsThe PerksAside from the basics (medical, dental, HSA, 401k, PTO, etc.), Dwight also has a number of perks such *****Flexible hybrid work modelIn-office gymWeekly lunch deliveries1-month paid sabbatical after 5 years of service.A twice-monthly chiropractorIn-office haircutsCommuting stipend
