Job Title: Chief Financial OfficerCompany:Dorman Trading, LLC, a MIAX companyLocation:Chicago, ILFull-Time/Part-Time: Full-TimeDorman Trading LLC ("Dorman") is seeking a Chief Financial Officer ("CFO") to lead its Finance and Accounting Departments. The CFO will be responsible for managing and leading the financial initiatives of Dorman. This individual will be instrumental in operating and managing all aspects of Dorman's financial operations. The CFO will work closely with the Finance and Accounting Departments, Senior Management and all employees at Dorman and Dorman's Board of Directors and committees, while also liaising with Dorman's parent company, its CFO and Finance Department.Dorman is a CFTC/ NFA-registered Futures Commission Merchant (FCM) and is a wholly owned subsidiary of Miami International Holdings, Inc. Dorman plays an integral role in the futures industry by providing execution and clearing services for Introducing Brokers, retail customers, institutional clients, and professional traders across the globe.Miami International Holdings, Inc., owns Miami International Securities Exchange, LLC (MIAX®), MIAX PEARL, LLC (MIAX Pearl®), MIAX Emerald, LLC (MIAX Emerald®), MIAX Sapphire, LLC (MIAX Sapphireâ„¢), MIAX Global Derivatives, LLC, MIAX Futures Exchange, LLC (f/k/a the Minneapolis Grain Exchange) (MIAX Futuresâ„¢), LedgerX LLC d/b/a MIAX Derivatives Exchange (MIAXdxâ„¢), The Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX) and Dorman.ResponsibilitiesOversee all aspects of Dorman's financial operations, including accounting, financial reporting, cash flow tracking, taxes and financial planning.Financial and regulatory reporting to the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME, Dorman's Designated Self-Regulatory Organization ("DSRO")), Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) and National Futures Association (NFA).Liaise with Dorman's DSRO and manage annual financial examinations.Communicate with exchange representatives and regulators effectively.Ensure and assist in compliance with Dorman's regulatory requirements under the CFTC, NFA and exchanges.Compliance reporting both internally at Dorman and MIH, and externally to regulators, exchanges and clearinghouses.Conduct detailed financial analysis, budgeting and financial planning.Maintain and ensure accurate recordkeeping.Formulate strategic business plans to improve Dorman's financial operations and growth.Manage Dorman's cash flow operations.Monitor ongoing financial operations within Dorman, such as payroll, benefits, invoice handling, cash flow and other transactions.Provide insightful information to Senior Management at Dorman and MIH to aid long-term and short-term decision making.Maintain comprehensive understanding of the futures trading ecosystem; including exchanges, trading platforms, firm access, customer access, and connectivity.Maintain understanding of applicable CFTC, NFA, CME rules and regulations applicable to FCM.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Finance, CPA/Accounting or a related discipline or the equivalent.10+ years of futures industry experience preferred.Experience working with global exchanges preferred.Series 3 FINRA Certification.Series 27 FINRA Certification.Detailed knowledge of the futures and derivatives industry.Significant experience working in a regulated environment and deep knowledge of financial reporting requirements.Experience working with the CME or similar DSRO on financial examinations.Strong adherence to deadlines.Microsoft Office proficiency.NetSuite proficiency.FIS GMI proficiency.Excellent team leadership skills and ability to motivate employees.Excellent verbal and written communications skills.Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented.Critical thinking and strong documentation skills.Ability to work in a fast pace, high-volume environment.Ability to work in a collaborative manner alongside other employees.Ability to work through a problem, analyze root cause and propose solution.Ability to work independently and as a team member, while recognizing issues that require escalation.If you are interested in applying for this position, please send your resume and cover letter to - careers@.Dorman Trading LLC is committed to principles of equal employment opportunity without discrimination or harassment on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, age, disability, marital status, citizenship, genetic information, or any other characteristic protected by applicable law.
