Position: Security Sales Engineer ManagerOur team seeks a motivated, knowledgeable, and talented Sales Engineer Manager to cultivate relationshipsand provide innovative security designs that aligns solutions to our client's needs. You will lead a salesengineering team that is enthusiastic to cultivate relationships while providing technical ownership of securitysolutions from design and estimating through to project management.Local commutable candidates to the Lehigh Valley, PA OnlyNo 3 rd party applicationsResponsibilities:ï‚· Maintain consistent standards and best practices for Sales Engineering Teamï‚· Manage and maximize accuracy of pricing and assemblies in design systemï‚· Create, implement, and continuous improvement of sales engineering processesï‚· Develop Sales Engineer Staff and provide management oversightï‚· Develop, manage, client relationships and grow key strategic accountsï‚· Design, engineer, and estimate enterprise-wide physical security solutionsï‚· Ensure the highest level of customer satisfactionï‚· Cultivate client relationships into partnershipsï‚· Update ERP system with status changes, revenue estimates, target date forecastsï‚· Stay abreast of competitive offerings and industry trendsï‚· Outline intuitive and complete Scope of Works to set clear success matrixes aligned to client goals.ï‚· As necessary, and in conjunction with the team leadership, present our solutions / designs toprospective clients with the goal of winning new businessï‚· Assist post-sales engineering / project management as necessary with technical issues / redesignsï‚· Monitor, measure, and report on quote / sales engineering pipelineï‚· Provide responsive, concise, professional support to all customers and other personnel to ensuretimely follow-up on all customer concerns and issuesï‚· Generate RFI's and other formal correspondence as requiredï‚· Ensure timely and successful delivery of RFP'sï‚· Conduct post project reviews in conjunction with project management to ensure high clientsatisfactionRequirements:ï‚· Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of work experience, education and trainingï‚· 5+ years management experience with IT / Security System Industry / Sales Engineering or related fieldï‚· Responsible for reading and interpreting wiring diagrams, schematics, and blueprintsï‚· Technical experience (10+ years) in video surveillance, access control, intrusion detection, and IPnetworkingï‚· Extensive knowledge of design / sales engineering best practices of integrated security systemsï‚· Proven hands-on Security System technology experience and installation techniquesï‚· Demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing prioritiesï‚· Exceptional client facing communications & presentation skillsï‚· Ability to think through problems and visualize solutions.ï‚· Create accurate diagrams and documentation using design tools.ï‚· Ability to quickly learn new or unfamiliar technology and products using documentation and internetresources.ï‚· Ability to work with all levels of staff within and outside the organization.ï‚· A self-starter able to work independently but comfortable working in a team environment.ï‚· Possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skillsï‚· Other duties as required or assigned by company management.ï‚· Previous experience and certifications with these and / or similar hardware vendors preferredo Motorola / Avigilon ACC and ACMo Software House (CCure)o Bosch Video and Intrusiono Mercury Hardwareo HID Hardwareo Hanwhao Axiso Peplinko Sikluo Vigitrono HoneywellPhysical Demands/Working Conditions:ï‚· Regular and Timely Attendanceï‚· Must be able to stand for long periods of time (up to 4 hours) without a breakï‚· Position requires bending, twisting, stooping and climbingï‚· Ability to use ladders and lifts at height to perform installation and serviceï‚· May be exposed to temperature changes, heights, small spaces including confined spacesï‚· Ability to distinguish colors and use hands for repetitive fine manipulation frequentlyï‚· Must pass initial and random substance abuse tests & background checksCOMPANY BENEFITS:ï‚· Company 401k with a 100% match on the first 6% of contributions (subject to company policy)ï‚· Salary increases based on job performance, ability to handle increasing levels of responsibility,completion of relevant manufacturer certifications and overall state of the companyï‚· Variable Bonus Program (subject to company policy)ï‚· Flexible vacation / paid time off (subject to company policy)ï‚· Personalized scheduling for work/life balanceï‚· Medical, Dental & Vision Benefits, STD, LTD, Life, and AD&D Insuranceï‚· Education Programï‚· Professional development plan designed to help you achieve your professional goals
