If you have experience in fiber optic splicing and are passionate about contributing to critical infrastructure projects, we'd love to hear from you.Job *As a Fiber Splicer, you will be responsible for the preparation, splicing, testing, and troubleshooting of fiber optic cables for various construction and telecommunications projects. You'll play a critical role in ensuring the integrity of our fiber networks and delivering quality results.Key *Perform fiber optic splicing, including cutting and preparation of cables.Troubleshoot, test, and maintain fiber optic systems using OTDR and other testing tools.Perform fiber splicing inside enclosures, cabinets, and underground vaults.Collaborate with project managers, field supervisors, and other team members to complete jobs on time.Maintain safety standards and follow all company safety protocols.Ensure all splicing documentation is accurate and complete.2+ years of experience in fiber optic splicing (preferred).Experience with fiber optic tools such as OTDR, fusion splicers, and power meters.Knowledge of fiber optic construction standards and specifications.Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and in a team environment.Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites in and around Kenosha, WI.What We ***Competitive salary based on experience.Paid time off and holidays.Opportunities for career growth within the company.A supportive and team-oriented work environment.
