Job Title:Warehouse ManagerJob Type:Full-Time / PermanentJob Summary:We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Warehouse Manager to oversee all warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and compliance. The ideal candidate will manage the entire flow of inventory, ensure safety protocols are followed, and lead a team to meet organizational targets. This role is key in maintaining smooth logistics, optimizing storage, and delivering excellent service levels.Key Responsibilities:Operations Management:Plan, coordinate, and manage the daily operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storage, and dispatching of goods.Implement best practices to ensure efficiency, quality control, and timely order fulfillment.Oversee the accurate tracking and recording of inventory using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).Inventory Control:Maintain optimal stock levels and reduce stock discrepancies.Monitor and audit inventory levels regularly to prevent shortages or overstock.Coordinate with procurement and production teams to align supply and demand.Team Leadership:Hire, train, and develop warehouse staff to ensure high performance and morale.Assign and monitor tasks to ensure productivity targets are met.Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and address any workforce issues.Safety & Compliance:Ensure all operations comply with health and safety regulations (OSHA or local standards).Promote a safety-first culture by conducting regular safety checks and training programs.Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment.Process Improvement:Identify areas for operational improvements and implement new processes.Monitor KPIs and generate reports for management on key metrics like accuracy, efficiency, and costs.Drive continuous improvement initiatives in areas like automation and waste reduction.Customer Service:Collaborate with internal departments (sales, procurement, etc.) to meet customer expectations.Address and resolve any shipping or inventory discrepancies proactively.Requirements:Experience:Proven experience (5+ years) in a warehouse management or logistics role.Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or ERP software.Knowledge of inventory management, logistics, and supply chain processes.Skills:Strong leadership and people management abilities.Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and data reporting tools.Education:Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business, or related field (preferred).Certifications like Certified Warehouse Manager (CWM) or Lean Six Sigma are a plus.Other Requirements:Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures.Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects as needed.
