Romanucci & Blandin, a nationally recognized personal injury law firm based in Chicago that handles high-profile matters, seeks to add a partner and/or senior attorney with 10+ years of litigation experience to join its MVA/Premises practice group. The attorney would work on general personal injury and product liability cases, motor vehicle accident cases, as well as premises liability, construction litigation and negligent security. The practice group represents plaintiffs in matters in federal and state courts throughout the nation, including many catastrophic injury cases. Responsibilities will include leading a team in the practice area while managing a full docket of cases, including all aspects of litigation (investigating potential cases; filing lawsuits; discovery; taking depositions; settlement negotiations; motion practice and hearings; mediation and arbitrations; trial; post-trial motions). The attorney will work directly with clients, co-counsel and other firm attorneys in a team environment. The position may involve travel. The position also involves leading the team in vetting potential cases.Candidates must have proven trial experience, be motivated, and possess the ability to work well on a team. They must also be energetic self-starters with initiative.
