The Estate and Tax Planning Attorney will be responsible for managing high net worth clients, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. The ideal candidate will have five (5) to seven (7) years of practice experience in high net worth estate and tax planning. Experience planning and drafting Intentionally Defective Trusts, Spousal Limited Access Trusts, Revocable and Irrevocable Trusts, Charitable Lead and Charitable Remainder Trusts, and Grantor Retained Trusts. If you are a detail-oriented and proactive professional with a passion for estate law, we invite you to apply and contribute to our commitment to providing high-quality legal services.Responsibilities· Analyze complex legal issues related to high end tax planning and provide strategic recommendations.· Review legal documents, including wills, trusts, and other estate planning instruments.· Communicate with clients to gather necessary information and provide updates on the status of estate administration.· Address client inquiries and concerns with professionalism and empathy.· Oversee the management of assets, including financial accounts, real estate, and personal property.· Work closely with financial institutions, appraisers, and other professionals involved in the estate planning process.· Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws governing estate planning.· Collaborate with paralegals and support staff to streamline workflow and ensure efficient case management.QualificationsMinimum 5 years experience in high end tax and estate planningExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesJuris Doctor (J.D.) degree and a license to practice law in New York State
