Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for a Director of Housekeeping at Sheraton Laguardia East in Flushing, NY. The Director of Housekeeping will work closely with the GM, FOM and Director of Facilities to ensure sleeping rooms and public areas adhere to Marriotts Standards of cleanliness and maintenance. They will strive to meet our guests expectations of a welcoming lobby and an immaculate and inviting room each time they visit us. In addition, this person will be responsible for scheduling, payroll, training and development of the housekeeping and laundry personnel. They will be responsible managing the departments budget and operating expenses and employee productivity and engagement.
