Position Overview:MSI Defense Solutions is seeking a highly motivated, dynamic individual looking for an opportunity that will allow them to showcase their talents and have an impact in a strategic growth area. Our ideal candidate thrives in ambiguity and demonstrates problem-solving leadership with limited oversight.The Project Manager will support the execution of Government programs through all stages, from product development and production to sustainment in the field. The role requires planning, developing, and analyzing information necessary to support program leadership decisions regarding the product and business.The role requires independent judgment and considerable creativity to solve unique execution and business opportunities and excellent organization skills to document program decisions regarding product content and strategies.Responsibilities:Develop and implement program strategies aligned to organizational goals.Lead projects from requirements definition through deployment, identifying schedules, scopes, budget estimations, and implementation plans, including risk mitigation.Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure that projects adhere to scope, schedule, and budget.Collaborate with cross-functional teams and PMO ops to develop communication channels including dashboards and presentations.Foster collaboration between cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and seamless execution of program plans.Establish and maintain relationships with relevant client stakeholders, providing day-to-day contact on program status and changes.Lead process creation and documentation for program-related activities.Communicate program outcomes and/or risks to the appropriate management channels and escalate issues, as necessary, according to program work plan.Remain up to date on industry trends, competitor intelligence, and market research.Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 4 years of program/project management experience and 3 years of leadership experience; or master's degree with a minimum of 2 years program/project management experience and 3 years of leadership experience; or High school diploma or equivalent and 8 years of relevant program/project management experience with 3 years of leadership experienceExperience managing Defense industry projects and programs required.Experience leading projects with technical and non-technical teamsExperience defining, documenting, and providing guidance on processesProven success working with all levels of managementDemonstrated ability to develop and executive strategic plans, manage budgets and drive resultsStrong written and verbal communication skillsStrong skills in Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, MS project, and PowerPoint.Excellent presentation skillsAbility to obtain and maintain DoD Secret clearance.Preferred Qualifications:MSE, MS in Mechanical/Mechatronic Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Computer Science, MathPMP CertificationPosition will report to the Vice President of Enterprise Operations and Policy Coordination. The position is on site and will require full time work week spent in the office. Normal hours are Monday through Thursday 7:00am-4:30pm and Friday 7:00am - 12:00pm.
