Public Policy SpecialistAs part of the firm's federal government relations team, the Public Policy Specialist is a professional who will support a variety of clients in public policy engagement on energy, environment, national security, technology, agriculture, education and healthcare. The firm's professionals work with Congress, the Administration, and other industry, governmental and scientific organizations to develop and execute federal engagement strategies and coalition activities at the cutting edge of public policy. Responsibilities · Organize and prepare for client meetings and congressional briefings· Monitor Congressional and Administrative activities for clients · Research and draft content for regular client communications· Coordinate and schedule congressional meetings and develop briefing materials · Engage existing network of relationships on Capitol Hill to inform, support client engagement strategiesQualifications· Bachelor's degree · 2+ years previous work experience in, adjacent to, or working with Congress· Network of relationships with current Congressional staff· Strong verbal and written communication skills· Ability to represent BPAG and its clients to outside audiences · Strong computer skills· Ability to prioritize, multi-task, meet deadlines and maintain poise in a fast-paced environment · Professional appearance and demeanor· Ability to work independently after being given initial instructionsHow to ApplyPlease email resume and cover letter to pyerian@
