Tax Return Reviewer

SUMMARY AND OBJECTIVE Pearson & Co, PC is a boutique accounting firm specializing in personal service to individuals, partnerships and corporations, and trusts. Conveniently located in Mechanicsville off I-295, our experienced staff is passionate about using numbers to help our clients. We are currently looking for a seasonal Tax Return Reviewer. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of tax preparation and review experience and is knowledgeable with Ultra Tax software. A CPA or EA designation is a plus but not required. Strong knowledge of federal and state tax regulations is a must. The position involves reviewing individual, corporate, and trust returns to ensure accuracy. It will run from February through mid-April with an average workload of 25 hours per week in the office or virtually. This role will pay between $50 and $80 per hour depending on qualifications. RESPONSIBILITIES Review individual and corporate tax returns. Ensure accuracy and completeness and make recommendations for any discrepancies.
