The Assistant Selling Manager/Leader will assist the Sales Manager in developing the sales force and help in the duties as outlined below while also promoting and selling our merchandise through excellent service, professionalism, and product knowledge. Work with the Sales Manager in leading the sales team toward increased effectiveness through performance measurement. Make certain each Sales Associate is in alignment with the company's mission statement and values. Essential Functions Facilitate, encourage, consult and promote the sale of our merchandise, accessories, and services Meet and maintain specific sales quotas as designated by sales management Enhance our image while ensuring our customers receive the highest level of satisfaction through quality service and courteous behavior When not with a customer, constantly roam the Showroom floor looking for customers not being assisted properly. Follow-up on customer's sales through "Thank You" notes and other media Make certain the showroom floor is kept "picture perfect" at all times through constant observation and maintenance Help recruit and select service-minded Sales Associates. Support the Sales Manager in scheduling, training, motivating and developing Sales Associates to reach their potential. Conduct daily huddles and scrimmages. Monitor and address performance issues of Sales Associates in a timely basis. Strictly enforce company policies, procedures, and standards as they relate to the functions of the Sales Team. Responsible to open and close the store as well as hold a key. When the Sales Manager is not present, authorize and approve price adjustments, cancellations, and refunds. Help sales associates with individual customers as needed. Associates have confidence in your ability to assist them with any step in the sales process. Take overflow customers and maintain personal sales Adhere to our Mission Statement, Principles, policies, procedures, and service standards Be a role model for new associates Schedule Expectations Scheduled to work a minimum of 40 hours per week including Saturdays and/or Sundays; the number of hours worked will increase during holidays or blackout periods, for vacation coverage, or for other business needs. Scheduled for two days off each week, except during holidays or blackout periods. One extended "Iron" shift per week Regular attendance at the assigned store in accordance with these schedule expectations is an essential function of the job and all job functions are performed at designated job location. Education & Experience Requirements Must be certified in Leadership Toolkit Must complete Leadership Training Must complete Managers Essentials Training Must be rolling over 15K in sales Show potential to get results through others by effective goal setting and performance measurement. Show potential to be an effective leader and coach with strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to empower and develop a team and hold them accountable Ability to build work relationships and teamwork throughout an organization Must be very positive and enjoy helping and servicing people Competent with technology such as word processing, internet, and email.
