LHH is seeking a Human Resources Manager for a Direct Hire, Permanent Placement position with a manufacturing client located in the Northwest corner of Indianapolis, Indiana. In this role, you will lead a small HR team and oversee a manufacturing facility of approximately 150 employees. You will be responsible for supporting the strategic direction of the organization and overseeing HR administration and compliance, employee engagement, recruitment, onboarding, talent development, benefits administration, etc. The compensation is commensurate to experience and ranges between $100,000-120,000 per year and includes several medical insurance options, Paid Time Off, and a 401K plan with a company match.Company will not sponsor applicants for Work VisasJOB RESPONSIBILITIESServe as a hands-on HR leader, roll up your sleeves, and spend time on the production floor with hourly associatesResponsible for employee engagement and serving as the primary point of contact for all HR-related issuesCoordinate human resources strategies including employment processing, compensation, health and safety, benefits, training and development, records management, safety and health, and retentionServe as a liaison between the management staff and all employees by appropriately addressing questions and helping to resolve work-related issuesSource, recruit, interview, and hire qualified candidatesDevelop and facilitate onboarding programs for new hiresComplete paperwork for LOA, Workmans Comp, etc.Organize and administer the performance management program and evaluate and recommend training resources to support employee developmentBe a difference maker and leader for a growing facilityUnderstand the business operations, employee population, and how HR can provide value-added servicesProactively identify issues and concerns and then create and implement corrective actionsQUALIFICATIONSBachelor Degree in Human Resources, Business Management, Ethics, or related field is requiredPHR/SHRM Certification is preferredMinimum of 8+ years of Human Resources experience within a manufacturing, warehousing, and/or distribution facility is requiredMinimum of 5+ years of Human Resources Management experience leading a small HR team is requiredMust have experience using an HRIS Must have experience with work-related employee issues, injuries, claims, etc. in a manufacturing, distribution, and/or warehousing operationMust possess the ability to maintain high level of confidentiality and integrity while executing responsibilitiesMust have a core knowledge of and ability to collaborate with all areas within HR such as payroll, compensation, employee relations, and benefits packagesMust have demonstrated ability to influence and align organizational strategies to maximize talent capability and behaviorsMust have experience in partnering with colleagues in all levels of an organization to drive prioritiesCompany will not sponsor applicants for Work VisasIf you or someone in your network fit this profile and would like to apply for this Human Resources Manager Job located in the Northwest corner of Indianapolis, IN, please submit your application alongside your resume using the link in this posting.Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/DisabledTo read our Candidate Privacy Information Statement, which explains how we will use your information, please visit Company will consider qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.
