Job ** Senior Controls Engineer Job * Auburn Hills Michigan 48326Onsite *Allen Bradley/Rockwell15 years AutomationFanuc/Robotic Job ** Day to Day **Provide Controls expertise and guidance during equipment design, software design, build, debug, qualification and improvement phases of a project.Develops and designs the controls software packages utilizing Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), and/or Human/Machine Interfaces (HMI)Intermediate understanding of electrical circuits, electrical panel design, pneumatic design, hydraulic design, PLCs (Programmable Logic Controller), HMIs (Human Machine Interface), robot programming, VFDs (Variable Frequency Drive), servo applications, and device communication networks (DNET, ENET, and Profibus)Write original PLC code (Allen Bradley or comparable) and modify existing code as requiredExperience with Fanuc/ABB Robotics or Vison systems a plusWork with different disciplines to diagnose and troubleshoot electrical vs mechanical issues.Ensures the equipment being started up and commissioned operates in accordance with the customer requirements as outlined in the approved specificationAbility to work onsite within the offices or at customer locations as required Experience/BSEE or APPLICABLE EXPERIENCE (Degree is not required)15+ years Automation industry experienceAllen Bradley / Rockwell / Comparable PLCsExperience with various HMI systemsAbility to develop code from scratchTroubleshoot/modify existing Code**Fanuc / ABB roboticsServo Motion experienceVision Systems
