Environment, Health and Safety ManagerThis is an opportunity to create an impact in an innovative company on a growth trajectory. Responsibilities The EHS Program Manager position is part of the Operations team. This is a full-time, exempt position. This position will require a broad range of responsibilities. Some examples of these responsibilities are listed below (but are not limited to the following): Responsible for the creation and implementation of environmental programs that ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal requirementsResponsible for all environmental reporting requirementsResponsible for the creation and implementation of safety programs and systems that provide a workplace that is free of recognized hazardsConduct routine audits and analysis to monitor health of current programs, making recommendations and driving improvements to EHS programs Work with agency representatives when necessary, acting as first point of contact for reporting, inquiries, and investigations, as applicable Responsible for the daily management and continuous improvement of all associated company programs to support the corporate vision and commitment to safety and the environmentPrimary Incident Command representativeAssist with multi-state BWC injury/illness claims including investigation and follow-upResponsible for all green Initiatives that support the overall corporate vision and commitment to environmental initiatives which includes the tracking as well as potential reduction of emissions to land, air, and waterDrive improvements with Corporate Environment, Social, and Governance initiatives as determined by leadership and in alignment with customer and agency expectationsRequirements 5+ years of previous experience in creating and managing Safety, Health, and Environmental programsCorporate Governance and Sustainability experience preferredSafety experience in a manufacturing environment requiredOut of state travel required to support remote locations (approximately once every quarter) CompensationThis position is full-time, salary, exempt. Compensation typically follows industry median for Northeast Ohio/the Great Lakes region. You may be eligible for an annual bonus. This is a long-term, high accountability role.
