We offer a fresh, fast-paced energy, with a startup vibe.The PositionFriedman Vartolo LLP is seeking an experienced Foreclosure Litigator with appellate writing experience who is capable of handling complex litigated matters to join our growing team. We are looking for bright, enthusiastic individuals, who will bring a strong work ethic and eagerness to grow alongside the firm.ResponsibilitiesAppearing on a wide range of court appearances Drafting of motions, briefs, and memorandums of lawConducting legal researchResponding to discovery requests and pleadingsMaintaining responsibility for all aspects of respective contested cases, including devising legal strategies and executing on legal strategiesCompleting initial review of documents related to highly litigated casesOversee support staff and review their workRequirements5+ years of experience in motion practice of contested mattersAdmission to practice law in the state of Pennsylvania; New Jersey and/or New York is a plusLitigation and Appellate advocacy experience required.Experience handling foreclosure, bankruptcy, and eviction appearances in PennsylvaniaSuperior appellate writing, legal research, and analytic skillsAbility to identify and resolve legal issues quickly and proficientlyAttention to detail and organizationAble to manage a heavy work loadCompensation/BenefitsCompensation is competitive and will be commensurate with experience.
