This role is centered around finished goods inventory control from production to distribution. This individual should be able to work with external and internal platforms to create data sets leading to actionable logistics decisions. The individual should be self-motivated and willing to solve operational deviations on a daily basis. Self-perpetuated investigation of inbound and outbound deviations is vital. This role will have the ability to work in a fast-paced and exciting production facility. This new addition will see and learn all aspects of supply chain from unfinished goods procurement, production, sales operations, marketing, nutrition, and finance. Responsibilities:Collect data on supply chain operations and provide reports on performance Analyze data to identify areas of supply chain operations to improve efficiencyTracking of stock movements to minimize production to warehouse and warehouse to warehouse discrepanciesWarehouse error, inefficiency identification and troubleshootingUse of external portals to aggregate dataPredictive stock movement analysisDaily discrepancy and shortage analysisDaily EDI transaction monitoring and troubleshootingDaily warehouse communication and discrepancy investigationMonitor and investigate records of inventory transactions, including negative/positive adjustments- suggesting actionable ways to reduceIdentification of continuous automation opportunities- actionable steps to bring to IT/DevelopmentInvoice validation and follow-upRelaying of quality deviations to proper production channels and remediations of these issuesInterpretation of customer claims and creation of operational ways of working to reduce issuesFiling warehouse claimsWarehouse KPI aggregation and report card presentationShort dated product control / lot and expiration dates correctionsOther duties as assigned by manager.Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or other related field.3 or more years of experience in supply chain or logisticsA minimum of 2 years of data analytics experience Food or CPG background is a plus, but not requiredStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insightsProficiency in data analysis tools, techniques, and software, including advanced Excel functions including but not limited to vlookups, if statements, pivot tables, etc.Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and their data structuresDetail-oriented with a focus on data accuracy and integrityStrong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work on multiple projects and priorities simultaneouslyContinuous learning mindset to stay updated with industry trends and emerging analytics techniquesDr. Schar is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to providing equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, or any other protected status under federal, state, or local laws.
