Currently, we are looking for a Data Analyst in the Procurement Department in Kalamazoo, MI. After sixty years, they have remained a family-owned business that takes pride in providing customers with industry-recognized high-quality natural ingredients, expertise, and superior service.RESPONSIBILITIES:Deliver improved competitive analysis and reporting to support strategic sourcing by using the Panjiva Supply Chain Intelligence platform or similar sources.Implement reporting improvements using PowerBI, Tableau, or similar data visualization tools to support data-driven decision-making for the Procurement Team.Design and manage key market reporting to ensure uniform access to important information.Develop and maintain dashboards for the Procurement team and other stakeholders.Create and maintain a supplier rating system for suppliers of ingredients and services to our client's procurement.Serve as the Procurement budgeting lead.Manage monthly cost loaders to ensure accurate market price reporting is provided to the organization monthly.Lead cash and inventory forecast initiatives and reporting.Drive implementation and adherence to global purchasing policies to ensure inventory levels comply with corporate policy.Lead Procurement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency of the Procurement team, drive cost savings, and optimize inventory levels.Collaborate with the Procurement team to gain insights into the markets our client operates in and sources from.Participate in the initial stages of the organization's Lean Journey by providing insights and collaborating with the team to identify opportunities for streamlining processes and reducing redundant tasks.QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's degree in supply chain management data analytics, or a related field.Experience with ERP systems (ex. SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or Dynamics 365)Proficiency in report development and data visualization tools (ex.
