Design Coordinator

JOB DESCRIPTION This position is responsible for creating a build ready package for production and managing the design process throughout the life of the project including permit ready drawings, all material specifications, and all work orders by performing the following duties.KEY **Works with sales, estimating and production in creation of project packages.Acts as the first contact person as design questions and issues arise in the field.Provide selection cut sheets and samples to Sales Representatives and Customer Service for verification referenceField questions from Sales Representatives, Customer Service and Customers.Works collaboratively in a team environment with a spirit of cooperation.Familiarity of EPS-DXF-PDF to create files in CADCreation of CAD files for estimatorsManagement of Designer's schedulesWork with Shipping and Prepress on digital samples.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND *Junior designer experience a plusCAD ExperienceOrganizational and Time Management skills necessaryExcellent analytical problem-solving skillsAbility to communicate effectively and remain calm and courteous under pressureCOMPUTER SKILLSFamiliarity with relevant computer software and hardware programsExperience working with various operating systems·        Has advanced specialized computer skills that require mastery of applicable **** o  Artios Software a pluso  CAD o  Amtecho  Smart Plan
