Job Title: Senior Manager, Data Analytics and InsightsLocation: Onsite - Cleveland, OH, New York, NY, Shelton, CTEmployment Type: PermanentJob Summary:We are looking for a Senior Manager, Data Analytics and Insights to join our Data and Analytics team. This role supports Laurel Road's expanding lending and deposit product suite, directly impacting the growth and strategic planning of our initiatives. As a cross-functional leader, you will develop detailed reporting and forecasts while providing valuable insights into industry trends and product performance. The ideal candidate will have a mix of business knowledge, technical expertise, and strong communication skills.Key Responsibilities:Portfolio Insights: Conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses to gain insights on product performance, industry trends, and macroeconomic factors.Analytics Framework: Develop reporting structures and KPIs to guide growth and profitability for deposit products.Strategic Planning: Lead the forecasting process, establish benchmarks, and monitor business progress toward these goals.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders in Product, Marketing, and Operations to align and execute strategic initiatives.Leadership: Potential to lead and mentor 1-2 analysts, providing direction and guidance within a matrixed organization.Qualifications:Education: Bachelors degree or higher in a quantitative field (MIS, Computer Science, Data Analytics) or equivalent experience.Experience:8+ years in product, marketing, finance, or related roles.Proven experience in Analytics, Consulting, Financial Services, or Product Strategy.Advanced knowledge of SAS, SQL, R, or Python.Experience with data visualization tools like Looker Studio, Tableau, and Excel.Skills:Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.Ability to manage complex data analysis and translate insights into actionable recommendations.Excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement and presentation.Non-Negotiable Requirements:Onsite presence required in Cleveland, OH, Shelton, CT, or New York, NY.Experience managing 1-2 offshore analysts.Advanced technical skills in SAS or similar analytical coding languages (SQL, R, Python).Strong data visualization and presentation abilities using Looker Studio, Tableau, Excel, or PowerPoint.Nice-to-Have Skills:Experience in Analytics, Consulting, Financial Services, or related fields.Familiarity with evaluating business problems, data analysis, and generating strategic recommendations.Career Path and Opportunities:Significant growth opportunities within the Data and Analytics team, Pricing Team, or Product Management.Opportunity to expand product knowledge, develop technical skills, and lead impactful initiatives.Additional Information:Compensation: Annual bonus eligibility.Work Arrangement: No relocation assistance; flexible work hours are not available.Position Type: Backfill (previous role replacement).Sponsorship: Not available for this position.Equity: Not offered.
