Senior Commodity Buyer

The Richmond Group USA, Manufacturing Search division has been engaged to find a senior level strategic sourcing professional with a passion for electronics and a knack for driving operational efficiency to join an extremely well-financed, rapidly growing electronic products manufacturer. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a company that has a strong market position and a commitment to innovation, offering a dynamic and rewarding work environment.In this corporate strategic sourcing role, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the companys three North American manufacturing sites. Working closely with the Global VP of Operations, you will focus **Sourcing electronics, components, and contract manufacturing services to support the companys production needs.Developing and implementing strategic sourcing strategies to optimize costs, quality, and delivery performance.Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.Identifying opportunities for process improvement and driving continuous improvement initiatives.Ideal Candidate *Proven experience in strategic sourcing or procurement, including new supplier sourcing, cost negotiations, supplier performance management, and value engineering/cost reduction activities.Demonstrated ability to negotiate complex contracts and manage supplier relationships, including category management, strategic sourcing, contracting, and supplier management.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.A proactive and results-oriented mindset.***Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.Proficiency in strategic sourcing, supply chain management, and vendor management.Experience in sourcing electronic components and materials within the electronics industry.Strong negotiation skills, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.Excellent communication and project management skills.*Please note that candidates for this position must be legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship to be considered for employment.
