Our Ballston Spa location is currently looking to find a Receiving Support associate to join our team! Join our retail environment without the harsh retail hours! The receiving support role will provide strong administrative support in areas of receiving such stock items, special orders and managing inquires. This role will partner with sales teams and other departments to effectively troubleshoot inventory discrepancies. Average hours will be 25-30 hours per week. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Review and receive purchase orders of all material stock and special orders unloaded by receivers (Yard-UPS-FedEx-Transfers-Orgill) Manage incoming receiving inquires related to billing or credit Partner with sales team to get proper paperwork in Spruce when needed to receive material Partner with the purchasing department on order inquiries and purchase order problems and also management and sales teams to help with inventory discrepancies to track inventory receipts and staging locations Manage outgoing UPS and FedEx shipments Receive and transfer branch special orders from vendors that will only deliver to Ballston Spa Provide customer service at customer pick-up area Effectively report receiving variances to the appropriate person and/or department Complete appropriate paperwork in an accurate and timely manner to guarantee inventory control Receive and transfer special orders that vendors will only deliver to one store.
