As a part of our team, you will be a working field service supervisor responsible for assignment of tasks, work environment, safety, and the overall performance of crew and contractors on field projects. As the CL you will be the primary expert in assembly, service and repair of transformers, The CL and crew may be assigned other work individually or as part of a larger electrical substation or power plant environment. In this role you will be responsible for the successful execution of projects and supervising, both technically and administratively their crew members and assigned contractor(s). You will be expected to take decisive and/or corrective action for the well-being of the crew, environment, project, equipment, customer and/or the organization.How You'll Make an ImpactExtensively travel up to 85% to various field locations, adapting to diverse environmental conditions.Become a member of the local bargaining union.Provide technical instructions on safe and correct assembly and maintenance of power and distribution transformers, following work scopes, assembly drawings, and electrical prints.Conduct transformer testing and receipt inspections, completing Siemens standardized reports as per assigned processes.Direct and train crew in the operation of transformer oil processing equipment, ensuring proper documentation on Siemens standardized forms.What You BringHigh school diploma, GED, or relevant technical/vocational training.Minimum of 5+ years in technical assembly, maintenance, and repair of power and distribution transformers and accessories.Documented leadership experience in installation, maintenance, service, and repair of substation and power plant electrical equipment, particularly transformers.Proficiency in commercial and industrial electrical wiring and troubleshooting, with the ability to use electrical prints and one-line diagrams.Specialized skill set in Distribution, Power, or Transmission electrical substation equipment in voltage ranges of Low Voltage (4160V - 13kV), Medium Voltage (13kV - 69kV), and High Voltage (69kV - 800 kV).Required ability to obtain a valid Passport and TWIC Card.CDL is preferred.About the TeamGrid TechnologiesOur Grid Technology division enables a reliable, sustainable, and digital grid.
