(June 2024 - June 2025)FUNCTION: ITLOCATION: Cary, North Carolina, USATYPE: Permanent GET TO KNOW YOUR AREA: Lead the company's data strategy and operations, working closely with domain leaders in all geographical regions to ensure alignment with business objectivesEnsure ideation and overseeing implementation of strategic data and analytics initiatives for enhanced value creation for end customersManage multiple contractors, oversee data governance, and drive innovation in data science, analytics and reporting. YOUR MISSION WILL BE TO: Develop and implement the companys data strategy, including data governance and data architectureIdeate strategic data initiatives to support digital experience and customer value creationDrive innovation in data analytics and reporting, identifying new opportunities to use data to improve business outcomesSet and enforce standards for the global data architectureCollaborate with domain leaders in all geographical regions to ensure data solutions align with business objectives and deliver valueManage a team of data professionals and multiple contractors, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budgetDevelop and implement processes for data quality control and security, ensuring compliance with relevant regulationsCommunicate data insights and recommendations to senior leadership and other stakeholdersUtilize artificial intelligence as appropriate to improve data processesARE YOU READY FOR THE ROLE? Main requirements: Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field12+ years of experience in data managementDemonstrated ability to communicate complex data insights to senior leadership and other stakeholdersExperience managing multiple contractors and teams in a global environmentStrong understanding of data governance, data architecture, and data quality controlStrong problem-solving and analytical skills Strong communication and leadership skillsAbility to work independently and in a team environment Experience with other Microsoft technologies such as Azure, PowerApps, and Power BI is a bonusEnvironmental Science U.S. LLC is an Equal Opportunity employer.
