SUMMARYAs Process Engineer you will maintain the quality and integrity of Metallized Carbons processes in order to support production. As a Process Engineer you will be the link to provide statistics and reports related to material processing, material quality, and process status across several departments at Metallized Carbons Ossining and Mountain Dale facility. To be successful, you will need to regularly gather and analyze data from these processes or from resources in those processes.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Process ControlAnalyze process and material parametersCoordinate lab QC personnel and their duties with QC supervisorValidate material and process qualityNotify and provide suggested actions to management regarding any out of tolerance processDevelop and provide process status reports to managementProcess OptimizationResearch, recommend, and implement new equipmentProvide continuous support and training for the life of the new equipmentPerform time studies and provide recommendations for improving current processes and equipmentSupport lean, 5S or other processes improvement initiatives to increase efficiencies throughout the plantTechnical SupportSupport COO and management team with any technical tasksManage drawings and repairs for all die setsSupport outside lab testingDevelop and complete DOEs and MQI to provide root cause analysis of failuresMonitor hazardous wasteMonitor generation of waste, satellite locations and storageEnsure proper labeling and handling practices are followedPerform periodic audits to ensure the correct protocols are being followedR & DSupport Product Managerwith the design of new productsProvide recommendations for the manufacturing methods of new productsSupport the manufacturing process and validate quality and repeatability of the new productProvide a clear conclusion of the project findingsTECHNICAL SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONSBS in Mechanical Engineering, Material Science or similar Technical FieldExperience 1-2 years in a manufacturing engineering roleAbility to read and interpret blueprintsProficient in CAD software, particularly TurboCADProficient in Microsoft OfficeExperience in robotics programming preferredExperience in PLC & Arduino programming preferredPROFESSIONAL SKILLSStrong interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal.Creativity and self-motivation to identify potential projects.Time management and organizational skills.Ability to multi-task.Sense of urgency for successful project completion.BENEFITS PACKAGE INCLUDES:Competitive benefits package.
