Benefits begin the month following the hire date.Summary:The Operations Manager oversees and coordinates the daily operations of the organization. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring the organizations efficiency, productivity, and the achievement of its objectives. The role will be responsible for Leading Production, Continuous Improvement and Safety efforts. Essential Functions:Establish Process Definition & Improvement focuses on operational improvement and cost savings to improve the organizations profitability and efficiency Develop strategies and initiatives for operational efficiencyMonitor, implement and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess and improve operations.Promote the behaviors and principles that drive continuous improvement in labor and material optimization.Enforce all prescribed safety rules and regulations and take prompt corrective action concerning potential safety hazardsAssist in operations system development including Business and Quality Processes, Lean Tools, Visual Factory, etc.Drive quality control standards to ensure products or services meet the organizations expectations.Develop and manage budgets for the organizations operational expenses.Control costs and ensure the efficient use of resources.Stay informed about changes in regulations and adjust operations accordingly.Maintain clear and effective communication with other departments and senior management within the organization.Implement process improvements and changes in manufacturing methods Offer new ideas to support fulfillment of plant goals and procedures for continuous improvement, retention of customer base, company profitability, and employee job satisfactionSets priorities for the team to ensure task completion | Coordinates work activities with other supervisorsResponsible for talent management and employee lifecycle activities, from hiring to terminating.Responsible for meeting on time delivery and productivity goalsImplements continuous improvement initiatives using various Lean methodologies and principles Position Qualifications:Education: Must have a Bachelor's degree; preferably Engineering degree or a business degree with a strong background in manufacturing Experience: 5 - 7 years' experience in operations within a manufacturing environment.
