Qualified candidates must be enrolled at an accredited college or university for Fall term 2025.What you can expect as an Athene Intern: Professional development Social events Networking events Volunteer opportunities Community involvement Collaboration with other interns Paid housing option (if eligible) Internships will run from mid-May to early August The key goals of the internship include an introduction to US Pension Risk Transfer team responsibilities and development of a broad understanding of the companys strategic growth initiatives in the PRT market. Intern will support the PRT team by performing tasks that contribute to the companys key objectives and decision-making processes.Accountabilities:Research and compile information from public filings related to companies that may be interested in pension risk transfer opportunities.Assist in preparation of presentation materials for meetings with senior management and for external meetings that take place in conjunction with each transaction.Collaborate in the preparation of transaction deliverables.Review Request for Proposals (RFPs) and deal documentation, summarizing key dates and details Monitor transaction activity and competitive landscape in the US.Automate and streamline processes where necessary.Qualifications and Experience:Pursuit of four-year degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, economics, finance or other related field required.Solid analytical and problem-solving skills. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and effectively meet deadlines. Proficient organizational and communication skills and the ability to develop effective working relationships. Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite preferred.Annual Salary for this role is market competitive. Actual salary for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
