As the Consumer Marketing Director for Hepatology in the specialty business unit at GSK, you will be responsible for strategy and execution of patient marketing as part of the hepatology marketing team. The role will encompass launch efforts for both linerixibat and bepirovirsen. You will work with internal and external partners to gain insights on the patient community to create the patient brand strategy and pull that through to a tactical plan and execution. You will identify and lead development of digital and non-digital patient assets such as web, social, mobile, print materials as well as innovative tactics (e.g., direct-to-patient) to create a complete patient experience and omnichannel marketing approach. The role will also be responsible for patient digital media buys and using insights and measurement to optimize the patient omnichannel campaigns. You will be part of a high-performing team moving with focus and pace to be ambitious for patients, and the role may provide you the opportunity to lead direct reports or contracted resources.This position requires strong leadership in many areas, including building patient strategy, creating tactics to support strategy, developing KPIs and measurement plans, and cross-functional collaboration. You must also demonstrate an ability to motivate the internal organization around our first product launches in a promising hepatology portfolio.This role will report to the Senior Director of Marketing for Hepatology and will include the following responsibilities:Understand the patient communities in Primary Biliary Cholangitis and Chronic Hepatitis B, the competitive landscape, and complex trends in the US marketplace to effectively contribute to the development, approval and deployment of patient focused marketing strategy, campaigns, & materials.Identify and build effective relationships with internal stakeholders to lead cross functional matrix partners towards a common goal and excellent execution.Analyze external and internal data to identify gaps and opportunities for the patient strategy.Create and lead key direct-to-patient focused marketing activities and tactics to support initiatives for patients with a collaborative mindset to deliver optimal impact.Partner with and manage multiple agencies and external partners to develop creative and execute promotional programs, evaluate project budgets, and ensure project progress & delivery.Develop consumer messaging that improves the patients / HCP dialogue and empowers consumers to discuss linerixibat and bepirovirsen with their providersDevelop KPIs, track performance and optimize omnichannel marketing programs for maximum impact.Working in an agile manner to pivot based on changes in the market and specialty portfolioLead a customer marketing team focused on the high priority opportunities.Why You?
