The Dental Clinical Assistant will be the core of what makes us unique! They will be with the patient during the duration of their visit. This is a valuable position that is aligned with the doctors goals. They will serve both new patients as well as existing ones. A Day in The Life On any given day, you can expect to encounter the following: * Working with a driven team of dental practice staff. * Caring for patients who value our services & expertise and want the best dentistry has to offer them. * Working in an office that is committed to excellence in patient care * Checking in between 4 to 10 patients each day * Assisting through procedures in all areas of the clinical space, ie. room setup/breakdown, four-handed dentistry, sterilization, etc. * In charge of supply and inventory management * Using all equipment with care and ownership * Improving daily essential tasks such as taking quality x-rays, suctioning, and patient care. * Supporting the hygienist in all aspects of preventative and periodontal procedures * Completing opening and closing duties as a team * Pouring up models and trimming * Packing up, sending out, receiving lab cases This Role is For You if... * You love working in an authentic environment * You thrive when committed to continuous learning, reviewing, and growing * You love working with patients who value our services & expertise and want the best dentistry has to offer them * You absolutely love a dental office that is committed to excellence in patient care * You want to learn and train to improve your assisting skills on a daily basis * You understand the importance of treating others like you want to be treated * Your attention to detail is exceptional and you prefer order and organization * You are a self starter and take initiative everyday * You are driven by results, solutions, and impact This Role is NOT For You if... * You prefer working solo as opposed to on a team * You are uncomfortable being in close proximity with a wide variety of people daily * Change makes you uncomfortable and you often resist it * You treat this position as a job and not a career What Winning Looks Like: We support you in winning by reviewing metrics related to sterilization protocols, treatment case acceptance, reappointment rate, new patient reappointment, and provider production goals and providing support and training to set you up to succeed! * Staying on time throughout the work day * Your dental skills have expanded to take on more advanced procedures such as surgery and full mouth rehabilitation. * Managing equipment maintenance checklist * Managing supply and inventory Deal Breakers * You aren't a team player. * You're always running late. * You are not a people person.
