Corporate Finance Analyst

THE ROLEWorks independently and with others in Corporate Finance on activities relating to accounting and financial reporting. Maintains books and records for strategic business unit; prepares financial forecasts and budget reports; performs ad-hoc analysis; maintains and enhances financial applications. WHAT YOU WILL DOPerforms the monthly financial close for managerial business unit(s) and legal entities inclusive of reconciliations, data maintenance and financial proofs. Prepares monthly financial and managerial reports. Performs accounting and financial analysis functions related to assigned strategic business unit(s) and legal entities.Administers and maintains policies and procedures to ensure compliance with internal controls and standard operating procedures.Works with others in Corporate Finance to improve accounting procedures and processes.Prepares financial analysis on request to assist in decisions regarding products, operations and other ad-hoc requests.Communicates, presents and interfaces with Corporate Finance, business units, and a variety of external parties relating to financial reports and analysis.Prepares support for independent audits. Responds to auditors questions and communicates all relevant issues to Corporate Finance management.Assumes additional duties as requested.WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FORBachelors degree in Accounting with 0-2+ years of related experience required.Strong communication (verbal and written), organizational, and analytical skills requiredSolid understanding of internal controlsStrong personal computer skills including spreadsheet and database required;Ability to work independently on various projects to achieve desired results.Ability to work overtime as needed.#LI-HD1PDN-9d55b593-b1d6-4fe3-991a-c217e512b5f3
