Members of the Strategic Operations team have the opportunity to experience every aspect of the Company before finding an operations or functional leadership role, or lead a new growth initiative for the business.This will be a very hands-on and analytical role and will support the Operations leadership team to drive excellent clinical, operational, and financial performance for Shields health system specialty pharmacy partnerships. Strategic Operations professionals will be expected to manage cross-functional projects through completion and support the initiatives with data-driven insights. The ideal candidate will be a great communicator with outstanding interpersonal skills, highly resourceful, strong analytical skills and possess the ability to work comfortably inside a highly entrepreneurial environment that is very results-oriented. Job Duties:Work directly with the regional Operations leadership teams to identify and execute on health system partnership prioritiesSupport Regional Vice Presidents and Directors of Operations to facilitate successful financial, operational and clinical outcomes for Shields partnershipsAssist in day-to-day strategy and operations for the regionFacilitate internal discussions with operations and cross-functional teams collaboration to advance the strategic priorities of health system partnershipsDevelop financial forecasts and detailed data analyses to support decision makingAssist in facilitating effective decision-making through analysis and execution of strategic projectsAct as key member of the Strategic Operations team to drive growth across the organizationWork on projects as directed by the Executive Leadership Team to execute on key business priorities & corporate strategiesSupport the execution of operational and strategic initiativesOrganize and prioritize critical issues and required information for the C-Suite to facilitate efficient decision makingProactively pursue ancillary business and growth opportunitiesEducation/ExperienceBachelors Degree1-3 years work experience, ideally in management consulting, investment banking, private equity, or a strategy role in a high-growth, healthcare start up environmentEntrepreneurial attitude - willingness to roll up his/her sleeves and work cross functionally to make things happen quicklyMust be highly motivated, results-driven professional who can thrive in a team-oriented environmentExperience in summarizing and presenting Company results in formal Management or Board of Director settingsStrong Excel and PowerPoint skills, including financial modeling and data visualizationAnalytically oriented; makes and defends decisions based on hard dataHard worker and self-starter who is able to work independently, with limited oversight from managersEffective at multi-tasking; someone who enjoys and thrives wearing multiple hats at onceOutstanding written and verbal communication skillsHealthcare experience preferred, but not requiredStrategic Operations associates professionals will likely travel 5-10% of their time, meeting with customers, site leaders, operational employees, pharmacists and clinical staff California residents employed by or applying for work at Shields have certain privacy rights.
