We are seeking a skilled and certified Radiologic Technologist to join our team. Under the supervision of the Director and/or designee, you will perform routine and special imaging procedures, ensuring adherence to radiology standards and protocols. Your role is crucial in providing high-quality patient care and assisting radiologists during diagnostic processes. Per Diem: Varied ***** ***** 7:00***** 8:00am - 4:00pm AND evenings; 3:00pm - 11:00pm; 4:00pm - 12:00am; minimum 2 shifts per month; some weekends required OR Full Time: Day; Evening and Night shifts available; Monday - Friday; alternating weekends; some holidays Key **** * Patient Preparation and **** Prepare and position patients accurately for specific radiological examinations, adhering to protocol-specific requirements and documenting images appropriately. * Imaging **** Perform routine and specialized radiographic imaging, using professional judgment to ensure high-quality and complete results. * Radiologist **** Assist radiologists during procedures, providing necessary support and expertise. * Equipment **** Operate and maintain imaging equipment, conducting quality assurance tests and calibrations. Report any equipment malfunctions to Bio Med or supervisor. * Administrative **** Handle routine office tasks, such as answering phones, checking in patients, and managing patient reports and films. * ****** Liaise with radiologists and attending physicians, communicating findings and facilitating patient care. * Patient **** Educate patients and families about procedures, ensuring a clear understanding of the examination process. * Professional **** Uphold company behavioral standards, treating all patients and staff with courtesy and professionalism. * Graduate of an accredited radiography school or hospital-based program. * NY State DOH Licensure or Limited Permit required. Certification through ARRT-RT and/or registered RT (R) is mandatory. * BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) * DOH IV certification (or completion within six months of orientation) * Maintain current continuing education requirements, including 24 CE credits every two years. * Radiation dose pledge for both Image Gently and Image Wisely through the American College of Radiology (ACR) will be performed during the orientation process and before end of probationary period.
