Renovation Project Manager

Job Summary:Duke Renovations is looking for an experienced and driven individual to take on the role of Renovations Project Manager. This role requires a servant-hearted, self-starting professional who can take on a variety of tasks with excellence and integrity.The Renovations Project Manager will work within the bounds and context of the company's vision, mission, values, and policies as he/she does their work. Among other things, this individual will be responsible for managing whole-home renovation work on the job site. The individual will need to work closely with the Renovations Manager, have a deep knowledge of residential construction processes and be able to utilize construction software in order to accomplish the functions of the job with excellence.Essential Job Functions:Project Management: oversee and manage residential renovation construction projects from pre-construction stages to completionEstablish detailed project schedules and keep them updated dailyImplement safety and quality standards on all projectsReview submittals, specifications, and construction drawings for each phase of constructionEnsure that performed work matches designs, specs, and other construction documents, and that workmanship is of high qualityCommunicate regularly with clients to keep them in the loop and on top of decisions needed from themManage project budget throughout, including coding invoices and capturing change order costsDaily coordination with subcontractors and material deliveriesPlan and coordinate site logisticsSchedule required inspectionsIdentify and resolve project risks or problemsCreate daily job logs for each project, including picturesPrepare punch lists and follow up to ensure completion2. Site MaintenanceEnsure job sites remain safe and aligns with our safety guidelinesKeep job sites clean, by self-performing the cleaning as necessaryTransport or move materials as neededSupplemental Job Functions:Manage service cases as they ariseBe present at or help at company events if/when they occurAssist and participate in various company initiativesProvide reports or feedback to team or subcontractors as neededMinimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:At least 7 years of experience in custom home construction supervision/management rolesKnowledge of major construction systems and equipmentKnowledge of local quality, safety, and health guidelines for residential constructionBachelors degree in construction management preferredAbility to use Microsoft Windows computer, including softwares like Word and ExcelAbility to efficiently utilize construction/project management software like BuilderTrend or Co-ConstructAbility to manage time wellAbility to work with numerous subcontractors in an effective and respectful mannerSelf-motivatingExcellent attention to detailStrong communication and organizational skills with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyThe above is intended to describe the essential and supplemental functions of this job.  It is not to be construed as an exhaustive statement of all-supplemental duties, responsibilities or nonessential requirements.
