VP of Construction Operations

Our client, a prominent player in the geotechnical construction sector, is looking for a seasoned Vice President of Construction Operations to oversee and improve operational efficiency across various construction projects. This role reports directly to the President and involves significant collaboration with site Project Managers and their teams. This Role Offers:An opportunity to lead a team of skilled Project Managers and their site teams. Direct involvement in project construction activities, ensuring strategic oversight and operational excellence. Focus:Manage and support 2-4 site Project Managers, overseeing all aspects of construction project management. Assist in job cost analysis across all projects to ensure profitability and operational efficiency. Contribute to the estimating, procurement, and scheduling of East Coast bids, maintaining stringent cost control. Foster effective communication with Project Managers, subcontractors, vendors, and joint venture partners to ensure seamless project execution. Coordinate efforts among all parties involved in projects, including owners, architects, consultants, contractors, and subcontractors. Uphold and advocate for the highest standards of safety and quality across all project phases. Skill Set:Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a closely related field from an accredited institution. At least 18 years of experience in drilled shaft installation or construction, with a deep understanding of below-grade foundation systems. Minimum 15 years of experience in a project management role, demonstrating successful project delivery and team leadership. At least 5 years of experience in a construction estimating role, with proven ability to deliver competitive and accurate project bids. Strong expertise in the construction of Cast-in-drilled-hole (CIDH) Piles, Support of Excavation systems, and Micro/Mini-piles. Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, capable of maintaining strong relationships with all project stakeholders.
