Location: Raleigh, NC (near North Hills)DIRECT HIRE100% ON SITEPay: $90-$120/kGREAT BENEFITS!We are seeking a certified MRI Technologist with managerial experience to provide leadership within the MRI departments for large practice in Raleigh. This applicant will provide counsel and facilitation on technical issues/problems. They will plan, organize and administer overall programs and activities for the department.Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.Coordinates and conducts continuing education, orientation, training, and competency documentation programs for department technologists as appropriate.Develops and modifies technical procedures and techniques as needed and assures manuals are updated as appropriate and reviewed annually.Functions as the technical "subject matter expert" for MRI. Maintain communication with all radiologists to assist Site Manager with quality of service. Coordinate/communicate equipment service and preventative maintenance schedule. Collaborate with Site Manager to determine corrective action if needed.Facilitate compliance with regulatory guidelines in each of the assigned service areas, and collaborate in providing compliance department-wide. Maintain equipment according to all regulatory and institutional directives. Participate in new product review and evaluation. Coordinate and assist with MRI specific supply ordering with staff.Maintain clinical competency within his/her disciplineReviews and reports financial and operational data evaluating quality of service, workload, revenue and expenses. Takes corrective action.Develops plans and feasibility analyses for expansion/change in services or activities. Prepares and submits recommendations for strategic plans.Work with COO, Director and other senior leaders to align goals, resources and priorities to overall strategy, high reliability efforts and health care system initiatives.Directs quality control and performance management and improvement activities to include patient safety within the departments.Position Requirements:Two or more years supervisory experience in an inpatient or outpatient healthcare setting.Associate or two-year degree in radiography5 or more years as a MRI TechnologistCurrent ARRT certificationCurrent CPR certificate and ability to complete OSHA training.Knowledge and understanding of general anatomy, physiology and medical terminologyAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
