If you are looking for the opportunity to join a dynamic team dedicated to developing life-saving technologies, you may be a fit for us!We are currently seeking a Shipping and Receiving Clerk who shares our passion, enthusiasm, and dedication to transforming lives.Position Summary:The Shipping and Receiving Clerk documents the receiving of packages, parcels, and supplies, stores items in the appropriate areas, pulls inventory as requested, and prepares items for shipping. This is a position that requires a highly organized person. The Shipping and Receiving Clerk should have a strong attention to detail while managing the logistics of a high volume of items entering and leaving the warehouse.Primary Responsibilities:Receive and unload incoming goods during office hours, following Quality Management Systems (QMS) procedures for required items.Compare goods in package with packing slip to ensure correct goods and proper count.Perform acceptance verification when necessary.Ensure all incoming goods are safely stored in correct bin/cage locations.Assist with maintaining an accurate inventory including weekly and monthly cycle counts and assisting with year-end inventory.Fill customer orders, including picking/packing orders, creating UPS/FedEx/trucking documents, and verifying the accuracy of shipments.Provide general warehouse support including maintaining general cleanliness of the dock and shipping areas, and preventive maintenance monitoring for warehouse equipment such as the forklift and eyewash station.Move product, when necessary, with a forklift.Supervisory Responsibilities:N/AQualifications:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of an organization.Math Ability: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.Education/ Certifications: High School Diploma required, and 1-2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experienceTraining and certification in forklift, preferred.
