We are an ambitious and innovative company and look forward to the unique experiences and different points of view youll bring to the table while fostering a spirit of communication.PurposeAs the 2nd Shift Shipping/Receiving Coordinator, youll be responsible for coordinating the activity of all incoming/outgoing shipments and warehousing for the manufacturing location.Responsibilities include:Verify information provided by freight delivery service with physical count to ensure incoming accuracyUnload deliveries as required moving material to proper locations as identified by company SOPs including movement to and from Quality Control area, warehouse, assembly, molding and officeCoordinates claims for damaged shipments with Production Manager, Logistics Manager and/or Quality Manager and the responsible shipping company.Coordinates with Production Manager and Logistics Manager shipping prioritiesGathers product for shipping according to "Picking List" provided by Logistics ManagerPack and/or bind cartons in preparation for shippingComplete all necessary documentation for shipment including documentation of lot numbers, quantities, bill of lading and labelsArrange for scheduled pick up of product by freight company specified on documentationLoad shipments as requiredMaintain warehouse organization of materials, components and product using FIFO inventory methodsMove material from warehouse to production areas as required by Assembly and Molding SupervisorsMaintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies communicating needs to Logistics ManagerAssist with annual inventoryPerform regular cycle counts to aid in inventory controlCoordinate with Process Engineer any maintenance and/or repair to equipmentAny other assignments as directed by immediate supervisor or their designeeWhat We're Looking forHigh School diploma or GED (required)Must be able to speak, read, and write English (required)Prior warehouse experienceFork truck certificationComputer literateOn the job training providedMust have experience operating stand up forklift equipment and be able to pass the company provided forklift certificationRequirementsMust be able to sit, stand, and/or walk for extended periods of timeMust be able to lift up to 50 lbsFacilityTemperature controlled facility with office and light manufacturing environmentNon-smokingSafety hazards minimalCompany provided smock and hairnet mandatory in all production areasClosed toe, closed heel shoes mandatory in all production areasWe are an Equal Opportunity Employer that takes pride in a diverse environment.
