The Leasing Coordinator supports this mission by promoting the community and the rental of apartments using a resourceful and gracious manner. The Leasing Coordinator assists current residents with their needs and works closely with other office personnel in a customer service environment. The Leasing Coordinator will be expected to effectively communicate the benefits of the community and rent apartments to prospective tenants entering the community. This position requires strong organizational skills, and flexibility is a must because an ordinary day can change very quickly.Holladay Properties is seeking a mission-valued, team-oriented Residential Leasing Coordinator who can work at multiple sites in Indianapolis's newest multi-family communities which include Union Square, Monon 46 and The Leo. The residential leasing coordinator will work closely with the team to make each community a place that residents want to call home.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:Maintain a professional image at all times in all weather conditionsAbility to learn the products, apartment benefits and communicate with prospective tenantsPossess confidence in themselves and products to be successful in this positionStrong and effective telephone skillsMaintain leads and tours for prospective residentsRespond to queries/leads persistently and provocatively for the communityEnsure all required documents are received for processing resident applicationsEnsure all prospects and tours are documented in Yardi and accurate follow up is continually achieved for leads.Prepare lease-related paperwork and ensure the accuracy of resident informationAble to learn and explain the terms of the leaseProcess resident move-insMaintain detailed notes in software programs (Yardi/Rent Café/Elevate) related to resident correspondence, work orders or A/RComplete market surveys as requested by Property ManagerEnsure the accuracy of all digital marketing sitesComplete social media posts 2-3 times per weekAssist with the preparation of monthly resident eventsMonitor completed resident and maintenance work orders in YardiMaintain business-to-business marketing as neededAny other duties assigned by Property ManagerQualifications:Must have a valid driver's license and DMV record acceptable to the company's liability insurance carrierMust not pose a threat to the safety and health of himself/herself or othersAble to read and follow instructions, warnings, procedures, etc.Able to show vacant space, inspect grounds and facilities in adverse weather conditions (rain, snow, heat, cold, etc.)Must be able to keyboard and use a mouseClose vision and the ability to adjust focus is requiredWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to speak, see, hear, and handle items and communicate on the phone.Holladay Mission and Values: All associates are expected to live Holladay's Mission and Values in their everyday interactions with each other, external clients, and stakeholders as defined below:Mission: Enriching lives through investment and serviceENRICH Values: Entrepreneurial- We are empowered to dream and take risks, to challenge conventional wisdom and demand continuous improvement, to innovate, create, and inspire change.Nurture- We encourage and support the growth and development of each other, our clients, and our communities.Respect - We recognize and acknowledge the inherent value of others.Integrity- We do the right thing. This range is subject to local, state, and regional dynamics and may be adjusted up or down depending on market conditions.Physical Demands:Able to sit at a desk for up to 6 hoursAble to climb 3 flights of stairs several times a day inspecting apartments or hallwaysEmployee is required to stand, walk, sit, and must occasionally reach, stoop, kneel and crouchClose vision and the ability to adjust focus is requiredWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to speak, see, hear and handle items and communicate on the phone.Able to maintain mobility to complete job tasks in adverse conditions (rain, snow, heat, cold).Supervisory Responsibility:This position does not have any supervisory responsibilityPromotional Opportunity:Associates with more than twelve (12) months of service may request consideration to transfer to other jobs as vacancies become available and will be considered along with other applicants.
