Position: Construction Support Engineer/ Project CoordinatorLocation: South San Francisco, CA (3x per week onsite)Duration: 6 month contract to hireRequirements:Bachelor's Degree in engineering, construction management, or related field with 3-5 years of internship or professional project management or coordination experience in the construction or design industryProficiency in MS Excel, Google Sheets and data visualization toolsFamiliarity with project management software and document control systemsUnderstanding of construction processes, project controls and procurement proceduresBackground in construction or architectural engineering or general contractingProject-Specific Responsibilities:â— Task Management: Assist with construction project tasks and ensure alignment with project schedules and deliverables.â— Coordination: Act as a liaison with internal stakeholders and external vendors to advance project progress.â— Documentation Control: Manage project documentation/folders, including cost estimates, funding, drawings, technical documents, and compliance documentation as required by the Engineering Manual /Engineering Manual Liteâ— RFI Management: Track and manage Requests for Information (RFIs) and coordinate responses.â— Meeting Support: Administer documents related to project governance, coordinate office hours for SMEs and drawings, and support onboarding training.â— Vendor & Change Management: Support D&C project team members (PMs, PCE, SME, etc) manage change across various vendors or stakeholders.â— Vendor Onboarding: Facilitate the onboarding of new team members and vendors, including badge access and training coordination.Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
