We strive to take the emotions out of investing and counsel clients to avoid making short-sighted moves based on current market conditions.We are looking to add a Client Service Associate to join our expanding team in our Lombard office. The primary role is direct client contact to service new and existing accounts while working with the Financial Advisors who have the primary client relationships.Job Responsibilities: In this role, you will be responsible for but not limited to the following:Deliver exceptional client service and provide operational and administrative support to the firm's financial advisory teamFacilitate various transactions and complete necessary paperwork on behalf of clients, including but not limited to, initiating money movements, establishing new investment accounts, transferring accounts, closing accounts, and account maintenanceCollaborate with the Firm's third-party custodian service teams and various other entities to carry out client servicesEnsure accurate record keeping and documentation of all client and vendor interactions using our customer relationship management (CRM) toolHelp teach clients how to utilize our client facing technology systemsScheduling and preparation of client meetingsOngoing maintenance of client electronic filesAssist with ad hoc projects, and help to maintain and improve firm processes and workflows to create efficiencyProvide ongoing service in accordance with company and vendor policies, practices, and regulationsThe ideal candidate will have the following skills:Bachelor's degreeExperienced working in a Registered Investment Advisory firm or operations for a Securities Broker-Dealer is preferredFamiliar with paperwork and processes of Charles Schwab is preferredProficiency in Microsoft Excel and WordSelf-motivated with ability to work independently and within in a team environmentMeticulous attention to detailAbility to multitask and move attention and effort back and forth between two or more activities when engaged in them at the same timeAbility to prioritize list of outstanding tasks to effectively handle urgent mattersStrong verbal and written communication skillsStrong ability to quickly learn new technology and digital systemsLocationThis is a hybrid role, working a few days in the office and a few days remote.
