The Senior Engagement Specialist of the JD FINL Foundation is responsible for leading the execution of JD FINL Foundation strategy. This includes but is not limited to leading our national partnerships, Customer Central engagement events, writing communications and social media posts, as well as assisting with a multitude of daily administrative tasks. This individual should effectively exhibit JD Finish Line's core values of Customer, People, Winning, Community, and Financial Responsibility in everything they do by performing the following key duties:Leading our national Girls Inc, 100 Black Men and Feeding America partnerships and their overall strategic and engagement initiatives.Leads Indianapolis engagement with each of our national partnerships and works collaboratively with team members to engage our store employees.Leads in planning and execution of Keep Indianapolis Beautiful partnership and volunteer engagement.Leads employee engagement strategy in Indianapolis and Boulder officesLeads all social media executionLeads all internal communication for the foundation.Leads in planning and execution of annual golf outingLeads in on site execution of Bowl for Kids Annual FundraiserLeads the JD FINL Engagement Champions group.Leads in the planning and execution of our annual volunteer celebration event.Coordinates all day to day finances of the foundation.Assists with preparing and organizing documents for quarterly Board Meetings, sponsors and grant partnerships.Strong skills in creating and executing presentations.Assists as needed with all Foundation fundraising and engagement efforts.Additional duties and projects as required.Oversees intern and their responsibilities .Required Education and/or ExperienceBachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, or equivalent combination of education and related experience. Demonstrated experience with writing a wide range of communication and media pieces, ability to work in a busy atmosphere handling the leading of many events simultaneously, ability to forge sustainable and productive relationships with peer organizations, donors and the community. Demonstrated experience in event management.Required Computer and/or Technical SkillsShould have intermediate to strong knowledge and abilities with Microsoft word, excel and powerpoint as well as Google. Ability to create great presentations.Core Competencies:Communication SkillsMust be an effective communicator with internal and external individuals at all levels. This includes spoken, written, electronic, and presentation skills. Communication should be consistently constructive and professional. Also, must be detail oriented with strong writing, editing and proofreading skills where accuracy and consistency are critical. Ability to create presentations.Decision Making and Problem Solving SkillsAble to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Able to analyze results and present findings. Makes routine decisions following established policies and procedures; collaborates with manager to gain assistance when complex issues arise.Event Management SkillsAble to lead large and small scale events simultaneously with the same professionalism and detail. Ability to think creatively about the intended audience and how our events will make that audience feel connected and appreciated.
