Who We **Objectives of this *This role is intended to lead our Neuromorphic Computing/Cognitive AI research and development team and will be driving strategies and implementations of our AI solutions to meet our customers' expectations.Support the development, algorithm selection, machine learning (ML), and test of AI as applied to Systems, UAS, Avionics, EW, and/or aerospace subsystems. This includes implementing SNNs onto Neuromorphic hardware (such as Intels Loihi 2).Drive, create, and implement AI deployment strategiesPerform literature reviews, interface with academic institutions, write proposals and implement/deploy those systems.Write code (python, C) to implement AI systems.Daily and Monthly *Develop Solutions for AI systems and embedded aerospace/avionics systems and subsystems. Will work on 2nd and 3rd Gen AI systems (Cognitive & Neuromorphic AI). Will work on Neuromorphic Hardware (Loihi 2).Develop Solutions for neuromorphic systems, EW, SigInt, Situational Awareness, Drones (UAS/UAV), Avionics, AI/ML sensor correlation/fusion, etc.Perform Neuromorphic AI research, ML, simulations, and integrate onto hardware.Act as the departments technical mentor, leading a team in understanding algorithm selection and AI/ML.Delegate, assign and prioritize tasks for the neuromorphic AI project team.Support business development activities. Will also support non-AI programs.Requires a PhD in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, AI, or equivalent.10 *** Experience developing AI and other software in Python, Tensor Flow, Keras, PyTorch, or other AI development environments. Must have experience with appropriate algorithm/method selection. Must have experience in Spiking Neural Networks (SNN).Industry development and deployment of AI experience; Experience may be in other industry fields (DoD, Medical, Commercial, etc).Experience writing code (Python, C/C++).A valid/clear drivers license is required.
