Harvey Nash USA has been engaged to find a talented UX Researcher for an enterprise Airlines Client.A reasonable, good faith estimate of the minimum and maximum hourly wage for this position is $63/hr to $70/hr on W2 (Depending on Experience).Benefits will be available, and details are available at the following ***** **Job ** UX Researcher ***** Chicago, IL***** 6 Months ContractHybrid/***** Hybrid**The UX Researcher will be an integral part of the Client UX design team with a focus conducting design research to inform the design process from discovery to wireframes to visual design. In this role, the UX Researcher will lead efforts to develop and execute research plans, methodologies, and report findings to inform design development. At the core, this position will transform unmet user needs and business opportunities into successful product launches through user research throughout different design phases. The UX Researcher will work to create a best-in-class user experience for Client's customers, helping transform unmet user needs and business opportunities into successful digital solutions.Top 5 Skill sets1. Experience in moderated and Unmoderated qualitative testing2. Experience in analyzing research data and insights3. Experience in ad-hoc research - like airports, inflight4. Basics of UX5 Strong communication and presentation skills• Bachelors degree or 4 years of relevant work experience• Extensive knowledge of usability and user experience research tools and techniques (e.g. field research, heuristic reviews, benchmarking, card sorts, lo-fidelity prototyping methods, etc.)• 5+ years of usability research experience with multifaceted responsibilities• Strong understanding of user interface design practices and principles a must• Strong moderation skills and methods for group facilitation and consensus building• Ability to work independently, in a team***• Masters degree• Experience with conducting remote usability testing and focus groups• Preferably a mix of web and mobile experience• Related experience in another field such as human factors, interactive design, information architecture, and/or market research is a plus
