Benefits: (Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage)Duration: Temp to perm positionLocation: Easton, PACorestaff is the official MSP resourcing partner for Porsche Cars North America for contractor positions operating and managing their nationwide contingent workforce program. This role is a Corestaff contract position with placement at Porsche Cars North America in Atlanta, GA.Position Objective:Supervise, lead and direct warehouse personnel assigned to the picking, packing and shipping activities. Coordinate daily activities to ensure they are handled in a manner consistent with company service and cost objectives. Secondary responsibilities include coordinating a Quality control program, managing the facility and equipment maintenance needs and additional project responsibility as they arise.Primary Responsibilities:Prioritize daily work schedule for assigned warehouse personnel and set employee productivity targets, filling in as required.Supervise all inbound receipts and outbound shipments to ensure that they are executed within published KPI's, standards and budgetary guidelines.Address and resolve operational or dealer related shipping issues.Lead, motivate and develop direct reports through coaching, performance management and development activities.Supervise the integrity of all material movements to ensure proper counts and controls.Monitor and replenish any supplies and equipment needed in the warehouse.Provide coaching to personnel and develop a productive work team.Complete annual reviews of department employees.Counsel department personnel on performance issues as needed.Ensure operational training of personnel in the shipping function.Conduct training on hazardous materials handling and ensure compliance with hazardous and dangerous goods transportation regulations.Guarantee the efficient and safe operation of all material handling equipment.Ensure system related issues are addressed and/or corrected.Open/close facility as required.Maintain Dangerous Goods Certification and training for appropriate staff.Coordinate delivery and shipment of ocean container shipments to PAG.Create and maintain productivity/KPI information.Act as liaison with departmental suppliers and vendors.Manage costs and expenditures within departmental control.All other duties as assigned,Education:Bachelor's or Associates Degree preferably in Business Management or Logistics. or equivalent work experienceExperience (Job and Industry):5 + years in a warehouse leadership role.Thorough knowledge of hazardous materials regulations.Knowledge and understanding of Warehouse Management Systems. SAP EWM experience preferred.Experience in assigning work and effective supervision of staff.Knowledge of materials and supplies utilized.Experience in a performance based work environment.Experience with Continuous Improvement Methods (Kaizen, 5S, etc.)Skills:Good interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbalKnowledge and skills with MS Office Suite applicationsKnowledge and experience with Key Performance Indicator (KPI) environmentKnowledge and experience leading a team of individuals. Competencies:Warehouse environmentHeavy lifting, up to 50 poundsSitting, lifting, pushing, pulling and extensive standing and walking on concrete surfacesAbility to work under pressure
