Havas Media Network North America, the Media Experience agency, is looking for a Director - Freelance to join the Paid Search Team, part of our global community of 10,000 team members who are focused on using Meaningful Media to make a meaningful difference to brands, businesses, and people.Havas Media is looking for a Director, Paid Search with experience managing complex paid search engagements, leading junior level staff, and working with demanding clients in the pharma industry. This role is freelance and would run October to May.We are open to remote, within the US, for this role. Working eastern or central hours is preferred.A DAY IN THE LIFE MIGHT LOOK LIKE:Campaign Planning, Management & OptimizationCreate and manage campaigns to effectively deliver client objectives and targetsEnsure best practice set up and ongoing management of campaignsOversee optimization of campaigns manually and through utilization of bid management toolsComplete and manage the forecast and plan of monthly budgets in line with client objectivesDevelopment and planning of performance media strategy largely independentlyManagement of direct reports to effectively manage & optimize campaignsReporting & AnalysisInterpret performance reporting data for clients on a regular and/or ad-hoc basisPresent campaign strategy and report on key performance milestones to dateBe able to direct and/or execute optimizations based on performance analysisTeam ManagementManage personal development plans for all direct reports ensuring SMART objectives are setDevelop performance media knowledge, tech knowledge and skill sets of direct reportsProvide regular support and advice to help progress direct reportsResponsible for all your team's daily operationsOverseeing accurate and timely finance administration and budgetTake a lead role in recruitment for the Paid Search teamPerformance InnovationHelp to drive innovation and creative search solutions for clientsLead team and company trainings on the world of performance mediaEnsure beta participation for clients and work alongside other online and offline account teams to deliver an integrated digital marketing solutionReflect the agency ambition and vision in all work, and lead and inspire the team to follow high standardsDeliver improvements in Paid Search opportunities, client delivery, and Paid Search product across the wider Paid Search teamIdentify and progress commercial opportunities for your clientsAssist VP on answering RFP's and may participate in new business pitchesWHAT YOU'LL NEED/SKILLS:Experience with running paid search in pharma is a mustPerformance media experience requiredManagement experience requiredIntermediate - Advanced level Excel skills requiredDrives development of team members, gives constructive and on-going feedbackContinually strives to seek innovative ways to find solutions for our clientsBe the senior client channel lead for your accountsAble to see big picture perspective and apply appropriately to brandClient Acumen, skilled at managing clients and setting clear goals / expectationsWHO YOU ARE: Enjoys being a leader of people and of a teamAgility and flexibility to manage multiple projects at one timeExcellent communicator, can inspire others to achieve best results, great motivatorAstute attention to detail
