LPN - Licensed Practical NurseSunday through Friday. The center is in Bronx, NY. Our client focuses solely on the aggregation aspect of the donation process, enabling us to focus more closely on Job SummaryThe Certified Physician Substitute is responsible for performing routine functions delegated by the Responsible Physician of our clients location. The Physician Substitute will ensure donor suitability for donation, and follow all federal, local, and organizational standards related to this determination.Hourly Pay Rate: $40 - $45 / HRJob Duties And ResponsibilitiesCounsels donors on test results, eligibility, high risk behavior, and applied deferrals.Provides on-site medical coverage for regulatory compliance during operating hours where donors are apheresed. Provides limited emergency medical care to donors experiencing adverse events.Performs health assessments for donors as required and consents all donors for plasma donation. Leads registration and screening activities to monitor and manage throughout times in the medical reception production area. Evaluates and determines approval for whole blood sample requirementsCoordinates reception personnel production area coverage to ensure optimal production flow.Participates in all center leadership discussions and meetings as required.Provides frequent updates to center management of personal shortages, inventory concerns, and equipment issues in the reception area.Provides personnel training and development in production areas, as well as skill development for customer service driven practices.Maintains skills in the medical and reception production areas of the center.Follows all applicable SOPs and all applicable local, state, and federal regulatory requirements.Follows all Health Safety & Environmental (HSE) and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) policies and procedures.Supports test result reviews for donor suitability.Required Skills & ExperienceGraduate of an accredited educational program in nursingMaintains current certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)Maintains current license and renewals as required Maintains current license and renewals as requiredA minimum of 1 years experience working in a regulated environment is preferred.
