Stealth Communications is seeking multiple full-time Lead Captain for our Global 7500/8000 Jet operations. This role demands a highly skilled professional responsible for the safe and efficient execution of all flight assignments, with a strong emphasis on safety, security, and quality. The Lead Captain will exercise pilot-in-command authority on all assigned flights and hold final responsibility for the safe conduct of each mission.Base of Operations: Pensacola, FLResponsibilitiesFlight Operations:Ensure safe and efficient conduct of flights, emphasizing safety, security, and quality.Operate the aircraft, determine departure times and routes, and make decisions regarding flight cancellations based on weather or other conditions.Ensure compliance with all federal, local, and company regulations and procedures.Maintain current aircraft manuals and Jeppesen charts/EFBs.Crew Management:Supervise and mentor flight crew, ensuring they report in proper attire and are mentally and physically fit for duty.Conduct annual performance reviews and assist in the hiring of flight crew members.Coordinate with the Manager of Training for crew member training and check rides.Coordination and Communication:Coordinate flight schedules and training with flight crew and CSR, using supplemental crew as needed.Liaise with the Maintenance Manager regarding aircraft servicing and cleaning.Ensure accurate completion of all trip paperwork and report aircraft discrepancies promptly.Safety and Compliance:Participate in safety programs and conduct required passenger safety briefings.Perform the functions of the In TSA Flight Security Coordinator (49 CFR 1544.215) under applicable security programs.Report any safety hazards or concerns immediately to the chief pilot and director of safety.Operational Duties:Obtain the most current weather reports, forecasts, and NOTAMs.File flight plans with the FAA or an ICAO state ATC facility.Analyze area, enroute, and terminal charts for the intended landing airport and alternates.Secure the aircraft after each flight, including arranging hangar storage if necessary.Additional Responsibilities:Take an active role in supporting the open sharing of information on all safety issues.Delegate duties as necessary, maintaining responsibility for those duties.Other duties as required, including working in various weather conditions and managing occasional exposure to fuel fumes.Physical Requirements:Use of hands and fingers to handle, feel, or reachFrequent standing, walking, or sittingOccasional climbing, balancing, kneeling, crouching, or crawlingQualificationsRequired: An active, transferable TS/SCI CI Poly U.S. government-issued security clearance prior to commencement.Airline Transport Pilot Certificate with Global 7500/8000 Type RatingFAA First Class Medical Certificate7500 hours as Pilot-in-Command3000 hours in Turbojet aircraft3000 hours of night flying100 hours of actual or simulated instrument flight10 years of aviation experienceFlexible schedule with the ability to travel worldwide without restrictionsValid driver's licenseAbility to lift and move up to 25 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionallySpecific vision requirements include close, distance, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focusExperience working in both heavy maintenance environments and upscale customer areas
