Terms of EmploymentW2 Contract, 12 MonthsThis is a hybrid position with 3 days in office.The office is located in Mays Landing, NJ.Core hours are 9 AM-3 PM. The schedule is 5 days per week, 8 hours per day.OverviewOur Client is looking for Senior Project Controls Scheduler to support large transmission and substation projects ($5-100 million). As a Senior Scheduler, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the scheduling activities within an organization. You will work independently with little supervision and may supervise a team of schedulers or assistants. Responsibilities may *****Developing and implementing scheduling policies, procedures, and best practices.Managing and coordinating complex schedules for individuals, teams, or projects.Analyzing scheduling data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.Providing guidance and support to junior schedulers or assistants.Coordinating with other departments to ensure that schedules are aligned with organizational goals and priorities.Communicating schedule changes and updates to relevant parties.Developing and maintaining relationships with stakeholders to understand their scheduling needs and preferences.Providing training and mentorship to junior schedulers or assistants.Leading meetings and discussions related to scheduling activities.Ensuring that schedules are accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with regulations and policies.Required Skills & ExperienceA minimum of 7-10 years experience with developing project schedules for large projects using P6.Electric utility experienceStrong interpersonal and communication skills.Organized and detail-orientedAbility to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.Self-sufficient; able to work independently as well as part of a team.Willingness to adapt to the clients processes.Preferred Skills & ExperienceBachelors Degree
