The Cary School, a private and NAEYC accredited preschool is seeking an experienced and dedicated teacher to join their team this fall.About **Our Reggio-inspired preschool fosters a nurturing and stimulating environment where children are encouraged to explore, discover, and grow. We value creativity, collaboration, and the unique potential of every child. Our team is committed to providing high-quality early childhood education that respects and honors each childs individuality.Job *The prospective working hours are 7:00 am to 3:00 pm, Monday through Friday.The class consists of a maximum of 18 students ranging in age from 2 to 3.5 years. Three teachers are maintained in the classroom.*Degree in early childhood education, child development, elementary education, or related fieldEarly Childhood experience necessary, 2+ years working with preschool childrenTeam Oriented with strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skillsKnowledge of ITERS/ECERSExperience working with Reggio Emilio and Emergent Curriculum is a plusCPR/First Aid, TB Test, NC DCDEE Qualifying Letter required prior to start datePlan and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate activities for children aged 2-3.5 years on a weekly basis based on the Reggio Emilia approach, incorporating childrens interests and natural curiositiesCreate a stimulating, safe, and nurturing classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and discoveryRegularly observe and document childrens progress, interests, and developmental milestones. Use these observations to tailor learning experiences to individual needs and provide documentation for childrens portfoliosMaintain open and effective communication with parents and caregivers, providing regular updates on their childs development and actively involving them in the learning processWork collaboratively with colleagues to create a cohesive and dynamic learning community.
